Puppies are the Cuteness

Have been busy at work, and thus, not very present on LJ. The congressional committees are gearing up for the defense authorization hearings and as such, we have much preparation to do for shipbuilding programs. Oscars were awarded to films I did not see. Kirby Puckett died. Maryland actually won a few basketball games.

So I shall take a momentary break to remind you all that puppies are very cute, and they make me happy. Here's a photo of Sofie, the parentals' five month old miniature schnauzer.


And I've linked this pic to a larger version. She's such a sweetie. Affectionate, and remarkably well behaved for a spunky terrier. Super cute!

Oh, I love her ears! I love the half-mast ears, just love them. And she's lying there, looking so good.

She's lovely. Although, we must confess to a trick on her ears. For the past few months, she'd always had one ear up and one ear down. My parents got these little sticky pads you can put on the inside of the ear flap - and the result was that both ears started flopping down the way they're supposed to. And now, she folds them right.
