Don't have any big or deep comments today. But I was amused to hear, on the drive home, the following comment during a discussion of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue:

Paulina Porizkova was like the Dražen Petrović of swimsuit models.

Because, yeah, that's how us sports watching guys go about ranking things...

And on that note, Top Five (in no order) Winter Olympics Sports:

1. The Downhill
2. Large Hill Ski Jump
3. Curling
4. Biathalon
5. Men's Ice Hockey

Just missing the cut:

6. 3000M Speed Skating
7. Luge

Curling passes the "I could definitely have fun doing that" test. It's kind of like shuffleboard on ice, but with beer. I thought the idea of it was stupid, until I watched it during the 2002 Olympics. I actually did go curling once, up at a rink a half hour from where I live, and it was neat. But it does fit in more with things like bowling - fun stuff to do that probably isn't quite "Olympian".
