Just watched the most recent Dollhouse episode - the one with the cult. Bonus point to the show for finding a plausible case for a circumstance where someone would actually require a Doll for a non-whore purpose. It made the storyline viable. Then again - this is something a fanatical FBI agent might actually do to go undercover. Although, no, it's not quite becoming a die-hard surfer.
More notably, the first scene shows singing cultists entering a general store, singing. I'm vaguely disappointed that in all the reviews of this episode - no one else noted that it's the same song sung repeatedly by "Reverend" Harry Powell in "The Night of the Hunter". I'm sure it was a purposeful choice. I will give the writers credit for not making the cult a bunch of Harry Powells.
OTOH, they probably should have let an extra connect the song. "Night of the Hunter" is one of my favorite movies of all time. They should have had echo sing Rachel's song.

Night of the Hunter is a great movie, also incredibly disturbing.
