Heh. There are people who like Oklahoma's and USC's. Those are probably people who aren't used to hearing Hail to the Victors 500 times a day.

People who like USC's fight song are all morons (no, seriously, someone posted on the USC board "How appropriate is the V for victory against Kal, considering it started during WW II to support the troops in their FIGHT AGAINST COMMUNISM!" Really.)

Michigan definitely. That song earworms me a least a couple time a year, 20 years later.

We tend to steal our music from other colleges (our alma mater's tune is the same as Harvard's) but nothing beats the Rock Chalk chant. :)

I won't inflict Buckeye Battlecry on you. It's bad but it grows on you. Ohio State's other song Across the Field is very nice for a traditional tune.

Even though I went to Mizzou I'll agree with ladyoneill above that Rock Chalk JayHawk is pretty good. We do have some very bad ones in the Big 12 including Iowa State (to the tune of You Gotta Be a Football Hero), and Oklahoma State's tuneless 'cuckoo-cuckoo' song.

I don't think ours is objectively the best (for your comparison, "Fight for California"), but it is the one I like best.
