Season Openers.
Michigan vs. Vanderbilt at Noon
Maryland vs. William & Mary at 6 PM

Will be going to the Maryland game unless it keeps raining. Yesterday's wind & rain demolished my umbrella. Granted, it's not like a hurricane, but I'm kind of sick-ish right now and don't want to spend four hours in a storm.

Also, two drawbacks to the new office. Culture very good, free parking very good too. Having to walk through three blocks of super-giant, very dirty rain puddles - not so good. Also, can't check my home e-mail at the office. Generates a massive wall, as I cannot check work e-mail outside of the office. I get all twitchy about that now.

Sadness - No Dave to Houston for Commissioning of USS Texas.
Gladness - Dave to Newport RI in ten days. To Lawrence, KS in thirteen.

Sure. I'll have my dad see if he can get faculty discount tickets and if the price is about the same as general admission--the seats are much better.

KU has sold more season tickets this season than they have since like 1968. There seems to be some hope. *g*
