Good News Bad News

Good News:

I get to work from home today. Also, not really a lot to do for work today.

Bad News:

I'm home because my compresser went out. It's 90+ F in my house, and I'm shvitzing like a pig* while I wait for the repair guys to show up.

Note (mostly for sneaker and a2zmom) I am aware that pigs do not actually shvitz. I just like the phrase.

That's an expensive ouch. Hope they get there quickly, so at least it will be cooler.

They did get it fixed - eight hours later, my house is now down to a balmy 79.

You have it *all* wrong-- on a day when your air is out, you go to work.

It's like when we lost power during the big outages two weeks ago-- it was the first time all year I was excited to go in to the office :)

I would loved to have been in our office, which is at a lovely 78 - but then I had to be home to let the technician into the house. After he was done, yeah, I went out.
