The Chosen One

SI Cover, Feb 2002

Seriously, I'll be watching LeBron take on the Washington Bullets Wizards tonight. I guess I gotta root for the home team, but I really want to see Bron-Bron put on a show.

But you know he will have to retire after S5, make a comeback in S6 and then go out spectacularly in S7!

It should be noted that, currently, he's in his third season and at the height of his powers...

Luckily he doesn't have to worry about Graduation Day.

Hey, that's not Buffy! lol.

Nope. Also, unlike Buffy, LeBron is stuck in Cleveland. At least for another year.

Didn't the Chosen One take out that wizard in S2? And again in S4? Wait, it happened in S3, too.

And this means he'll be traded to another franchise in about two years?

Not exactly. Eventually, LeBron will get to be a free agent. But unlike the WB - there really isn't anything Cleveland wouldn't do to retain him.
