Maryland overcame a 13-point second-half deficit to defeating Duke University, 78-75 in Overtime, capturing their first National Championship in Women's Baskebtall.

I'm extremely pleased that the only #2 seed in the Final Four won it all.

This is the third year in a row that it's happened in the women's tourney. And it's too bad you didn't tune in. The first half was pretty messy, and it looked like Duke might run away with it early on. But the second half was intense. Assuming you care at all about the sport, it was a classic. Kristi Tolliver's shot to send it into overtime was amazingly clutch.

Try to catch the ESPN coverage today while it's still a topic. I'm sure there will be highlights on PTI, because I know Wilbon watched the game.
