Weather here is maddeningly inconsistent. Yesterday it was great, and today it's blustery and cold.

I'll probably be giving more better posts when my hand/wrist comes around. I have some thoughts...

I didn't realize he was Clay Aiken until the singing started. I have no real awareness of Clay, and the show rocks for so many other reasons.

It was just one afternoon, which is the sweet-spot for Dave on subs... what with the cramped space and oxygen-poor air. But, it was really cool to sound that diving bell and play with the periscope.

Did you see that ESPN named Duke/Maryland as a more intense rivalry than Duke/UNC? I'd love to see your thoughts on this.

In short - when was the last time Duke/Carolina was playing for the title... Duke-UNC is the bigger rivalry, but right now MD-Duke is hot.

That is all. Even though I adore Maryland, just... no. It's deeper than just the basketball, man. We can't stand each other. We're only 15 minutes apart. I think that it's more intense because Maryland's done better against Dook than UNC has recently, but... Dook/UNC is the shit. It's insane how the two schools feel about each other.

interesting. I didn't know I knew anyone who liked Scrubs. I'll be looking forward to why you think it's so great. I'm personally stymied as to how it continues to exist.

I have to say, Dave, that I've been surprised about how sad Maryland's inconsistency has made me. You guys lost against friggin' State yesterday! Gah! Maryland's a much better team than that, unless State actually decided that they wanted to play some real basketball last night. If everyone on your team had a good night at the same time, you guys would be right up there with Wake and UNC.

I'm looking for you guys to be a dark horse during the tourney for some reason. I don't know if it will actually happen, but somehow I see you guys going to the sweet 16.

A lot of it is mental - they're too high strung. And they just don't have consistent offensive players, especially in the post. They also really miss DJ Strawberry on Defense.

And while I'm glad to see Maryland get respect, Duke-UNC is the center of the conference. We don't like it, but that's how it is.
