“It’s not that I don’t appreciate what you did for me, but it’s my life. And you can either help me or get out of the way.”

“I remember the last time you asked me to teach you something. And the last time I taught someone these skills. I’m not walking out of Sands dressed as Carmen Miranda again.”

Connor played his card.

“Dad.”
--pause--
“I just want to win the World Series of Poker.”

And Angel folded.

Lost five bucks playing poker last night. But I did leave with a pizza, so it's not a total loss.

It's the "Carmen Miranda" bit that cracks me up....

Yeah. I've got no story as to why he's dressed as Carmen Miranda. I just know that doing stuff like this to his character (as long as Angel himself serious about it) is surefire comedy.
