The One Year LJ Anniversary

I have now been on LJ for one year, invited courtesy of darkrhiannon. In that time, I've joined numerous (9 or so) communities and seen my Flist and FofList expand into the upper 80's or 90's. I've received about 3000 replies to my posts and comments. I've used about 7 icons, and have held onto the same layout for almost the entire time.

It's funny to go back and look at that initial entry, with my semi-pretentious quotation of Lermontov and the comment that "this will prove to be a fairly uninteresting LJ to scan" designed to inoculate myself against possible future arguments that my LJ is boring. Given that I don't post all that often and comment far more in other LJs than spark discussion in my own, I don't think it's an entirely unfair assessment.

I think it is an unfair assessment. Still glad to see you here. Your opinions are well-argued and even when I disagree with what you write (which is seldom) I don't discount its logic.
