Had much fun collecting my big bag of schwag at the Navy League's Sear-Air-Space Exposition. I now have all the pens I need, more lanyards than makes any amount of success, and a notepad that functions underwater.

That seminar on Homeland Security and the Coast Guard's Integrated Deepwater Systems was pretty dull, but the Navy Seasbasing was pretty good. Also fun, going by the Boeing display and playing on the F-18-A flight simulator.

Because I commented last week on the Men's, I'm turning my head to the Women's NCAA Basketball Tourney - in brief. I thought it was exceptional. Fine performances by LSU's Simone Augustus, Minnesota's Janel McCarville and Lindsey Whalen. Was impressed by Tasha Butts of Tennessee. I don't watch the women during the year, but the final rounds of Tourney has become fairly compelling. And Stacey Dales-Schuman is gorgeous.

So, my all-time Women's team, from the last 25 years:

Cheryl Miller, USC
Cheryl Swoopes, Texas Tech
Chamique Holdsclaw, Tennessee
Dawn Staley, Virginia
Lynette Woodard, Kansas

I'm going to have to email you some questions about women's collegate basketball once I distill my general confusion into actual questions. It's for a fic.

No problem. I'll help you how I can.

Lynette is really amazing. I think she'll make a great coach, too, and she so deserves her new spot in the Hall of Fame. :)

Yup. Wish her the best of luck

Never know when that's going to be handy. Of course, you still need to have your hands free...

Hands free is always helpful. Maybe Angel should've been talking to Houdini.

I like your all-time women's team except for Holdsclaw who I think is overated. No Lisa Leslie? Or maybe Cynthia Cooper?

Judging by her performance with the Mystics in the WNBA, 'mique certainly seems overrated now. But as a college player, she was utterly dominant - and I think deserves to be listed.

Were I to take a sixth player, it would more likely have been one of the Connecticut women.
