Lewis Black Rules!

Just watched "The Daily Show". Lewis Black ranted on the subject of hypocrisy and the general lack of contrition from public figures. Targets included: Kobe Bryant, Jayson Blair, Willaim Bennett. Easy targets, yes, but the rant was stellar.

I saw Lewis Black in Ann Arbor in 1999, back when I was in Grad School. I'm fairly certain he was drunk at the time, considering his off-balance stagger. So be it, the man is capable of delivering a great rant, and unlike Denis Leary - he's still funny.

On a completely unrelated topic... I see you're still listening to AC/DC! Jailbreak is one of my absolute favs!! And you started me on an AC/DC mood after the chat the other night, so I'm on Highway to Hell right now. Have Back in Black in the car. *g*

Hee. My tastes in music are pretty varied, but I've periodically gone through that phase where I listen to the butt-rock with no sense of irony.

Sure, it's juvenile and immature, but oh-so amusing. AC/DC rocks...

Man, you and I **so** need to talk. Off LJ. I'll get back to you on this (and the other stuff) later today. Off to take child and mother to the Mall.

I'm a fan of LB's also. He used to do this thing on the Daily Show called Public Excess where he would "review" various Public Access TV shows - usually musical performances. It was so funny, I would end up in pain from laughter and crying. Even when I saw it rerun. Several times.

He is a very funny man.
