Yesterday in the mail, I received the collected book of resumes for this years graduating class from the University of Michigan Scool of Public Policy. I think that kicks ass.
If you're looking at grad programs, one of the key things to keep in mind is how people get hired. That's a big chunk of why you go to gread school - to develop skills and improve the opportunities available to you. So, it's probably a waste of money to some extent - but the idea that they're sending out everybody's resume to all the graduates they have... that's cool.
Tomorrow, I'm giving the book of resumes to my HR person. The alumni network got me my first job. So I guess that makes it my turn. Maybe someone'll get hired.
