Michigan needed to win today to make the tournament. It was cool to meet up with my fellow alumni from The Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy but UMich comes a distant second.
In the last two weeks, Maryland has gone from a post-season bubble team, to a possible #5 or 6 seed. Included were two Tobacco Road victories over NC State, #2 in the conference - including today's impressive come-from-behind victory. Suddenly, this looks like a much resuscitated season. Coolness.
Just watched the end of the UNLV-Utah game. Great buzzer beater, after some fantastic finishes earlier in the day - like in the Connecticut-Pitt game. Love the Big Basketball Drama.
Got the torrent for "Wonderfalls" - seems interesting. Will watch later. Think I will like it. Too bad it's on Friday nights. Thank goodness for broadband.

Karen: Ugh, so how was the game? I guess you guys won again, huh?
elizabeth: Noooo!!
Karen: What?!
elizabeth: Maryland freakin' beat us, man!
Karen: YAY!!
elizabeth: HEY!
Karen: heh. Uh...sorry? But, YAY!!!
I'm so happy for you guys. But I'm a little upset that we got the lowest seed of all the ACC teams for the tourney. Damnation!! Oh well, at least we're playing Air Force in the first round. < geek > A chance for us to show our quality... < /geek >
Luckily I don't have a car, and don't have to make good on that promise. But I'm so happy! Yay, Maryland!!!

You will show much quality, because Air Force didn't beat nobody all year.
I still can't believe we got a #4. Two weeks ago, I thought we weren't even going to make the NIT.
