Spending tomorrow working at home. The parents will be out of town during the week, so I have to swing by 'the ranch' to look after Casey. (the aging, yet still cute, miniature Schnauzer)

So, I got to see a free sneak preview of "The Rundown", starring "The Rock", Seann William Scott, Rosario Dawson and Christopher Walken. This is a deeply stupid action comedy.

Nevertheless, it's also highly amusing - because it doesn't take itself seriously. "The Rock" is probably never going to be the Great American Actor. But, I think he's got a career ahead of him in action/comedy, and maybe he could be a supporting actor in a drama. I'm not a Wrestling fan, but he's got some charisma, he's articulate, somewhat witty, and he's got a persona he can play. As long as he doesn't go out and make a "Stone Cold" he might be okay.

So, in any case, if you want to see the movie, don't think too hard about it. The plot, while extant, is largely irrelevant. Just enjoy Christopher Walken talk about the Tooth Fairy. Or the shirtless guys, if you're into that. Or, if you're like me, a soaking wet Rosario Dawson...

So. I wouldn't drop $9 bucks on it, but for a matinee or discount second run, sure.
