Sad news. My awesome, always staying dry during basketball/softball/football Under Armor socks have developed un-repairable holes in the heel. (i.e. where I need cushioning for my ankle supports) And now must be retired.

Positive news, now have a nifty compression sleeve for my right elbow. Snerk.

Compression gear helps keep your muscles warm, improves blood circulation, and reduces fatigue and soreness. I put it over my elbow if I get sore from throwing.

I'm too cheap to buy a real one, so I'm just using a sock for that purpose, since it has the Under Armor logo and can basically function as a makeshift one. If, again, my elbow starts to bother me.

It's not like I've got a real reason to use them, like bursitis as Allen Iverson (below) does.

Is it like an Ace bandage sort of deal? I know my Dad (who has diabetes) wears something like compression socks to improve the circulation in his feet...

Kind of. The under armor sock (remember, I cut the foot off because the heel wore out) is very, very elastic and tight on my arm. So I just pull it right over.

But it'll hold over my elbow way better than an Ace wrap will, and it's probably not going to unravel when I bend my arm.
