But it's awesome. Just awesome. Actually surprised me. Saw it with a bunch of friends including a friends father, who is a Veteran. Great movie, and the rare case of a 'vietnam' film that could actually be laughed with.

I recognize that there's some controversial elements to the movie that one can complain about, but really it's about friendship. And how most everyone in Hollywood is an idiot.

This is one of those rare films that has you laughing so hard, you miss some of the jokes. I might have to go see it again.

I'm going to get the DVD. One can only hope the commentary features RDJ in character as Kirk Lazarus in character as Lincoln Osiris.

I ended up seeing it a second time with my cousins today, and I did pick up on some things I missed before.

Like the first time, I thought Jeff had thrown something at the bat and killed it. But no: it ODed!!!

I saw that it had picked the packet, so when it came back, I didn't even realize it had died yet. Though I sure knew why he was chewing on it...
