In somewhat good/bad news... the parents are out of town on vacation, and as my big sister was expecting to travel - I was on deck to watch Sofie this week. As it turns out, my sister's trip was canceled, so she will now be watching Sofie.

On the one hand, that's responsibility off my shoulders - and I also don't have to relocate to the parents house for a week - which would have sucked for my commute. (My house is not doggie proof, and I don't have a full fence.)

But, I will miss getting to have the dog for a week.

In other news, congrats to Rafael Nadal on winning Wimbledon. I don't watch a ton of tennis, and I'm only a passing fan - but today's match between Nadal and Roger Federer was quite amazing. Almost as amazing as Nadal's biceps. Seriously. For a tennis player, Raffi's got some serious guns.

My female friends are all pretty hot for him. I think I'd like to be that dude tonight.

Interesting. I'm not sure what it says about you. I think what my handwriting says about me, is that I can't slow down enough to write legibly...

SLOW DOWN!!! LOL. Just kidding.

But seriously, my handwriting is almost unreadable, mostly because I'm already onto my next thought while I'm still writing the old one. What I'm actually writing, is rarely what I'm putting the most care to at the time, and it's reflected on the page - both from a technical and content standpoint...

You seem to do okay when you are typing.

Thanks. I rarely write using anything other than pencil, and do so with the assumption that I'll fix it later. So there's a sense of impermanence to what I write by hand.

When I type, it seems more important and I go back to edit - so one wouldn't see my roughest of drafts as might be the case with things I've written by hand.

Do you find a difference between what you write vs. what you type?

I see.

It's easier to erase things when you type and edit oneself. That's what I do more of when I type.
