Character ID/Description Meme

Doing a short version of this meme, which I might likely finish answering. Most recently from [livejournal.com profile] likeadeuce.

Name a fictional character that I'm familiar with (feel free range far and wide), and I'll tell you:

  1. My favourite thing about that character.
  2. My least favorite thing about that character.
  3. One person I would ship them with in their own verse.
  4. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat.
  5. Something I've made in my head up about that character.

And yes, I still haven't finished the Two Random Characters Crossover and Have Dialog meme, because I fail at writing dialog between Dexter Morgan and Jim Profit. Seriously. It's been a month, and I still haven't gotten past the part where they're just sitting there, looking in the other's general direction, too wrapped up in their own inner monologues to actually speak for more than 5 seconds.

  1. Usually, Gunn is the sane man surrounded by a sea of crazy. And that he was considerably more shrewd than most people tended to notice.

  2. That he would be prone to losing sight of himself. Generally, he seemed to have strong self-knowledge and self-possession, so it's frustrating when he forgets - see "I'm the muscle" or his S5 need to magically lawyer up...

  3. I always thought Gunn & Faith would be awesome.

  4. I think Gunn is a character who would be highly datable. If he were living in a comedy world, it'd be neat to see him wind up dating Ashley Banks - though he is more a guy she would like than her a girl he'd date... and then he'd be getting inspirational guidance from Uncle Phil instead of thinking "I'm just the muscle".

  5. During S5, repeatedly abused Lorne's connections to meet his favorite sports and movie stars - tries to play cool - but ultimately dissolved into fannish goo (not literally) upon doing so.
