BOONDOCKS Season 2 begins tonight on Cartoon Network!

Also, Maryland had a nice win over Georgia Tech, behind our new QB, Chris Turner, who looks a lot like the Greatest American Hero. Okay, maybe it's just the hair.

So to this point, I think my favorite of all the new shows is "Life" - the story of a cop who is jailed for life, exonerated with a huge settlement, and who then returns to the force. Some of the other new shows are watchable (Bionic Woman) or mildly amusing (Chuck) amuses me, but this one might actually be quite good.

I don't know how good the cases are, but I like the cast. Damain Lewis and Adam Arkin are good. Also, there is Shahi.

Yeah, Life is the biggest surprise of the season for me. I'd heard almost nothing about it, but it's one of my favorite new shows so far. The week to week cases are pretty lame, but the overarching mystery of his framejob seems like it's going to be pretty complex and interesting and opaque. And I like the set-up with the documentary style clips, and the way you get to see him from all these different perspectives. And his off-kilterness. It seems like it's a character drama, not just a procedural.
