Good news - music of Def Leppard no longer stuck in my head.

Bad news - music still stuck in my head

Less Bad new - song in particular is "I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better" by the Byrds. This is an awesome song. Also, check out how not gross and fat the young David Crosby once looked. Some dudes just don't age gracefully. (Not that his lifestyle did him favors)

In a related note, on watching the clip... damn it must have felt good to be a mid-60's era rock star. Listen to that crowd.

The Byrds were a great band.
Yeah, we sure knew how to rock way back then!!

Wow, I don't think I'd ever seen Crosby without a moustache before.

I was always surprised no one ever made a David Crosby before-and-after "Don't do drugs" poster.

The Byrds were a fantastic group, no doubt about it.

I will never not be amused by Melissa Etheridge chossing Crosby as a sperm donor. I know if I was looking for a great gene pool, I'd choose the ugly alcoholic.

What's neat about this clip, is that they're playing the song way faster, and it doesn't really sound different. If I hadn't seen that it was about 30 seconds shorter, I might not have noticed.

This from a band where, every time I listen to one of their songs, I hear something different.

As to Melissa Etheridge, I guess she's just rooting for the folk music & harmony genes, as opposed to the ugly drunk with bad attitude genes. Certainly, you can't expect that baby to retain cuteness...

what I would like is if, in lieu of or in addition to other forms of recognition, I could have the chorus of screaming girls at work to cheer successful completion of projects, submission of manuscripts, good points raised at staff meetings, etc... THAT would rock!
