somebody pointed out that the most embarrassing thing for Morrison is not that he cried but that he did it BEFORE THE GAME WAS OVER when they still had a shot.
I'm kind of laughing about this a lot.
Oh, and you should appreciate this exchange I had with a student re: Tony Skinn and the nut punch:
"I'm really surprised Tony did that! I know him, and it's not like him." Pause. "OK, well, it's a lot like him."
Another student in my class was a high school teammate of JJ and explained that he's "really humble. well somewhat. more humble than you'd expect him to be."
Not a lot of ringing character endorsements there; also I tried to quiz the guy on the subject of JJ's poetry and he said he'd never heard it :).
