They gave Wallace 11 assists per game, which means he's a point guard. Which, BTW, is a very smart thing as a writer. You don't have to be tall to play the point. While it's rare nowadays, guys can play even into the NBA at less than 6'0" as a Point Guard. As long as you are really quick. And there are plenty of examples of that in the college game.
