Working the Federal Holiday

I've gotta say, days like today make me wish the Government was always off. No traffic coming in. Quiet office, where I am free to get stuff done at a pace of my choosing. No having to run down the street to the base, or to the pentagon, or have to be on my tiptoes in case the admiral needs something.

Except for the whole... if the government were always off I'd have no job... that part would be a bummer. But the rest is great.

Those are the best kind of days. I always liked it when there is no one but me and the cockroaches at work. It'd be better, though, if it was just me. No cockroaches.
