Anniversaries
Tuesday's MLB All Star Game was a little reminder of a nice three year anniversary for me.
Three years ago today, I cashed in my lovely check from Valley Crest productions. Granted, the tape date (6/21) and the broadcast date (7/11) make for much better anniversaries, but my journal wasn't open then, was it?
It's actually kind of sad that I'd rather talk about that experience than what I'm doing now. It's not that I dislike my life or anything. It's just infinitely more interesting than my day-to-day routine. I guess it's part of that mid-twenties ennui. Right now, I feel like my life was far more exciting back when I was in college. I certainly miss feeling all motivated and ambitious, but I guess winning big money on a game show will do that for you.
I really should get on Jeopardy! one of these days. It'd be so much easier than doing real work.
