A big thank you to those of you on my Flist expressing holiday wishes. And a happy Hannukah to those of you who celebrate.

And for the curious? I had dinner with my parents last night, and indeed, I will be wearing a brand spankin' new pair of socks for each day of the holiday.

New socks are always a good thing, even when tradition isn't prodding you along.

Happy Hannukah. I'll listen to Sandler tonight in your honor.

Happy Hanukkah! I never knew you were Jewish.

I'm not Jewish, but my father's sister is. Her husband used to always come over on Christmas day to my parents house (where we all had big Christmas stuff) with a big water gun. He'd yell, "Happy Christmas!" to all the kids. We'd yell, "Merry Hanukkah!" and then he'd shoot all of us with the water gun. Good times.
