1. The Yellow Stripe

It's got a few interpretations, but mostly I go with the associations with that yellow stripe in the middle of the road. As an undergrad in the Government Department, that's where I tended to find myself in most arguments. Somewhere in the middle, getting denounced by partisans on either side.

2. Dlgood

For the most part, Dlgood (or some variation thereof), is the handle I've been using for e-mail and internet presence for the past ten years. As a freshman at the University of Maryland, most every name I wanted was taken, and so I went with the default suggestion. First Initial, Middle Initial, First four letters of last name.

I sometimes think I probably should have gone with an LJ-name less obviously tied to my personal name or e-mail, and something that could be pronounced as a single word. Something like "Igdoof" instead.

3. Default Icon

I've cycled through a few, but I always come back to the 8-ball. I've been using that for the "My Computer" icon for, like, 8 years. I like pool. I like the pic. It's that simple.

You're a simple guy and I love you for it. Someone on my flist should be clear headed.

Just 'cause I'm simple doesn't mean I'm clear headed.
