Gacked from everyone...

1. Stop talking about politics for a moment or two.
2. Post a reasonably-sized picture in your LJ, NOT under a cut tag, of something pleasant, such as an adorable kitten, or a fluffy white cloud, or a bottle of booze. Something that has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS.
3. Include these instructions, and share the love.

1) Casey 2) Suit

So here's what we've got:

1) Is Casey, my family's miniature Schnauzer. My parents got him when I was in sixth grade, after our first dog passed away. He's sixteen now, and aside from some unfortunate "control" issues, is still a spry, healthy, and affectionate little guy.

2) Is a snapshot from John's wedding with me in my favorite Suit/Shirt/Tie combo. Can't really tell from the pic, but it's a nice Italian outfit and it's really damn comfortable. Plus, I think it's pretty sharp.

Casey's so cute (me with the Mini-Schnauzer luuuurve - and 16??? Wow! That's the longest-lived Schnauzer I've heard of) and you look quite the dapper.

We've had good fortune. Our first, Sammy, was healthy for fourteen years before he got cancer. Casey's into adult doggie diapers now, but other than the typical slowing down and some harmless warts, he's still going strong.

Casey's cute for sure.

Your suit is very sharp. You do Italian well.

Oooo. You're not bad looking. Not that I'm manhunting or anything. But.... okay. I'll just shut up now.

Chuckles. But whereas I am "not bad looking", Casey is cute.

How big is 'a miniature Schnauzer?' I've heard Sharon talk about them - often - but it's not a breed I'm familiar with.

Smart suit, too. Did you have a nice time at the wedding?

Miniature Schnauzers, on average, are generally between 12 and 14 inches at the shoulder. Our first dog, Sammy was much bigger, about 16. Casey is 11", and now weighs around 11 pounds. They're terriers.

Good suit, had much fun at the wedding. Almost always do.

Oh, that's tiny! But doe she have the 'Big Attitude' to make up for it?

Good suit, had much fun at the wedding.

I love weddings. Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Almost always do.

Ah - you're the optimistic sort?

Sammy was a he, as is Casey. Sammy actually did have that complex, trying to act bigger than he was -- perhaps because my parents had a two-year old when they got him. When we got Casey, my younger sister was already seven or so, so he very much grew accustomed to being babied. They tend to bark quite a bit, but he doesn't have the attitude.

As to weddings, it's mostly about getting to mingle with lots of people at a big festive gathering. And I like the food and drink. It's not so much about ceremony.
