I agree with you about the whole thing. I think when it comes to games and championships on the line, simple things like video reply should be employed to make the right call. I've always been a fan of it in football. I don't care if it adds another 5 minutes to the game. I don't know why people are so concerned with speeding games up.

At the same time, you look at a sport like baseball, and wonder if it would only be a hinderance there. Practically everything in baseball is judgement; calls at bases, balls and strikes, catches, etc. True, they're not really judgement calls...a guys either out or safe, or a pitch is either a strike or ball. But if they went to reply with baseball, the game would be stopped probably once an inning half the time. I think if they did bring reply into baseball, they'd have to do it like the do in football. Only a certain number of challenges a game. But really, the only thing I'd like reply for in baseball is maybe verifying homeruns, maybe an calls at bases. I don't know. It's such a tricky aspect to the game.
