Stupid Hotel

My otherwise swanky hotel does not carry the WB. There is the slight possibility that I can get into my cousin Brian's apartment and watch the Angel finale over there, but it looks more like I'll be at the bar watching NBA and NHL playoffs instead.

In todays Washington Post, Thomas Boswell discusses wacky baseball injuries. My personal favorite is John Smoltz ironing his shirt while still wearing it. That even beats Vince Coleman getting swallowed by the tarp.

I suppose there is the one consolation that The WB is apparently reshowing the finale, but still the swanky hotel has no sense of occasion. I hope it all works out so that you can watch it at your cousin's.
