Hooray! The Government has given me the date upon which I will have a functioning computer and phone at my desk, and ability to access the network. Things that are critical for about 90% of my job...

That date is August 17. So between then and now, I will be twiddling my thumb at the office, begging for computer time, and such... And abusing the printers, I'm sure.

So tommorow I'll be heading to RFK for another baseball game with Ken, the H-Dog, and my pal Jesse. Good times - Jesse and I used to go to tons of games so I can expect to be doing more of that with him moving back to the area. Despite the immense suckitide of both the Nats and the O's.

Also, saw both Talladega Nights and Clerks II this weekend. Not quite as good as Anchorman, though Gary Cole was pretty awesome. And, wow, some sick stuff from Kevin Smith. He's overwhelmingly crass and sentimental, and the sappiness and excessive talky-dialogue sometimes threaten to drown out the entertainment... but there's usually enough pricelessness to get away with it. Such as in Dante trying to explain to Randall what constitutes a slur.
