Sploosh and my Fandom Laziness, VMars Fanfic

Sploosh. The sound of that three pointer dropping in against Iowa. The sound of Steve Alford not getting the Indiana job. The sound of Steve Alford getting fired... Well, at least Iowa wasn't one of those sexy pics like BC. Boy would that have been bad if they lost.

But no. Iowa's a fake team. For those curious about the lingo... A sexy pick is a team that has had an okay season, but come tournament time, all the prognosticators are in love with. Fake teams... are teams in major conferences, that have good records and maybe even win the conference tourney. But don't have a ton of actual talent, and haven't beaten anyone impressive, and may already have a bad loss or two. Fake teams tend to lose early in the tournament. This year, fake teams include Iowa, Oklahoma, and Syracuse.

But you know, I'm lazy this week. If I were motivated, I would go out and write a stellar VMars genfic. In which, the money box for the 09er tournament pool disappers, and of course there are PCHers involved, and it's awful because (insert tertiary character here) was winning the pool and really needs that money. Somehow, there is a scene where Wallace and Keith are too fanboy-ish over the tournament, and Veronica must ask Mac to hack into random websites. And Veronica plays all ditzy as it is revealed that she has won the pool under a dummy entry name.

But I'm really lazy, so all we'll ever get is that abstract rather than an actual fic.
