This sucks. Can't sleep. It's been almost three weeks, and Chapter 14 of my post-Chosen fic, "Bakery", remains in stasis.
Hank and Buffy are just sitting there with nothing to say, and so am I.
Which just bites. Basically, I had this nice idea for an epilogue to Chosen that would set Buffy on her path and have some little hooks to keep her life story going, but I just keep getting snagged in this awful place where I can't find a way to bring the story to any sort of resolution where I can let it drift off. It's not like I ever intended to have a "THE END" but I was at least hoping for a plausible "And the camera fades out". I really owe it to the story to do something. Because I had some good stuff going and I don't want to just leave it hanging. But I'm just not getting anywhere right now, and I don't really have anybody to dump it off on. I really need to do something with it before Summer ends, because if I don't, I never will. And I can't, in good conscience just leave this story hanging.
To top things off, I played ball without my brace tonight and twisted my ankle. Again.
