Howdy, y'all. That was one heck of a SuperBowl. Sadly, had sideview mirror knocked off my car while parked on street in Baltimore. There goes another $380.

Have paid some attention to election. Have been following College Basketball, where tonight Maryland coach Gary Williams notched career win #600 over Boston College - his former school.

Also, I've put a little bit of thought into the idea of a Fandom Dispersal Draft - the idea being - what if current TV shows could go out and draft characters off of recently defunct programs to incorporate into their regular casts. How would that work out, and would that be funny to plot out.

Mostly though, I've been busy with the President's FY09 Navy Budget. For those who don't know, the Federal Budget comes out the first monday in February. Will be parsing and planning briefs to congressional staffers for the next few weeks... Fun Fun Fun.

The only thing I know about so far, is that after publicly stating before the draft that he will refuse any number of shows, a very giddy Charles Gunn is selected by the NBC Friday Night show Las Vegas.

See, I can't blame Charles for that

Ah. See, I would be unable to resist the twin thing. Angel appearing on Bones, Yelena whatsername from CSI Miami appearing on that new CBC show I think it's called "The Border", Cade Foster from First Wave on another new CBC show with the crazy pregnant chick (not that Americans'll be picking those up, but I got Canadian shows) . . .

As to the Superbowl, I feel a little sorry for the Patriots. Poor things were so close to that unblemished perfect season.

At least your sideview mirror wasn't knocked off by a crazed deer heading straight for you (my poor husband, a couple of years ago.)

Good to see you around here!
