You know, nostalgia never gets old. Thank the YouTube for such kitschy chestnuts...

I guess I should have recognized this as the moment where Paula Abdul went from being sexycute to kind of loopy. Before becoming crazy. I'm rewatching this thing, and it leaves me speechless...

I wonder where MC Skat Kat is now...

I wonder where MC Skat Kat is now...

I hope she fired her costumer....

Wow.

I'm pretty sure she was her own costumer. In addition to doing the choreography...

I don't know who told her it was a good idea to do a video where she sings about having sex with a cartoon cat, but I wouldn't be shocked if that was her idea too.

To be fair (although I'm not sure why I would want to be fair), wasn't this around the same time Bob Hoskins was falling in love with a cartoon who was married to a rabbit? Although, at least Bob Hoskins wasn't falling in love with the rabbit.

(Also, I love Wikipedia.)

Yeah, it's about the same time. Probably about a year after "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"

Goodness, Wikipedia and YouTube are great. I'm mainlining old "One Shining Momemnt" clips from NCAA Basketball Tourney's past. It's awesome.

I swear to god: a high school friend's father was a minister. He used that song in his pre-marriage counseling.

Even at the time, we were horrified by that. On many levels.
